Easy Shopify Affiliate App: LeadDyno

Easy Shopify Affiliate App: LeadDyno Shopify has become one of the top eCommerce solutions for anyone who wants to set up shop on the Internet, and for good reason. It’s easy to use, includes a 14-day free trial (sound familiar?), and if you’re managing an affiliate program, it’s easy to integrate with LeadDyno.

That’s right: you can have the same conversion tracking, the same credit card acceptance, the same easy-purchase buttons all set up through your Shopify account, and integrating that account is as easy as a few clicks once you’re set up. What could be better? Until they invent “no-click” integration, we have absolutely no idea. Here’s how to Shopify affiliate and referral tracking—along with everything else—in just a few short steps.

Promoting Your Shopify Store With Affiliate Marketing

Shopify is an eCommerce solution similar to PayPal or Stripe.com—it allows you to make sales, purchases, and payments online. For someone running an affiliate program, this is obviously a necessary piece of the puzzle. Not only do you need to get paid for your sales, but you need your customers to be able to make purchases and—much as you’d like to forget this part—you also have to pay your affiliates!

We’re not going to tell you which eCommerce solution is the best for you. Each person has their own preferences. You may already have a solution in mind. Heck, you may be too lazy to try a different one. That’s fine! We support a number of integrations for eCommerce, including for PayPal, Stripe, Shopify, and more, and each of them can do the trick. But typically affiliate managers who enjoy Shopify enjoy it for one of the following reasons:

  • Easy ordering. A lot of people find the Shopify checkout options easy to integrate and easy to purchase from. If you want an eCommerce solution provider that makes things easy on your customers, you can do worse than Shopify.
  • Shopify storefronts. Shopify might be most famous for their easy-to-set-up storefronts, which allow you to offer a professional-looking website showcasing each of your products, with quick “buy now links” readily available.
  • Ready-made themes. Shopify is also big on ready-made themes that allow you (or your affiliates) to establish an online store in a jiffy.

The Simple Guide to Setting up Shopify

f you don’t already have a Shopify account, don’t fret—it’s easy to acquire. Their free trial lasts just as long as LeadDyno’s does, allowing you to test their services out before fully committing to the registration. We highly recommend at least checking out their free trial first. Simply log in to their main site and enter your email address to get started.

After that, you’ll be prompted to set up a password for yourself before you get started with your store. (In truth, our “lazy man’s guide to setting up Shopify” is a bit of false advertising, since Shopify already makes the process entirely easy and simple.)

Creating your store is something that might interest affiliates more than it does affiliate program managers, but it’s definitely worth checking out for yourself to see how the process works.

There are a few plans available at Shopify that vary in pricing, as well, so you should poke around with their free trial before deciding on which plan might be right for you.

If you have any trouble understanding how Shopify can link to your own accounts, be sure to check out their extensive Help & Support pages, which come conveniently packed with a search feature—once again, Shopify is always happy to lend a hand.

Once you have a Shopify account, you’ll want to set up your LeadDyno Account. If you already have one ready to go, go ahead and skip to the section “What to Have Ready Before Your One-Step Integration.”

Reviews From Fellow Shopify Store Owners

“I came across LeadDyno a couple of months ago when i was unhappy with my existing referral partner software. After an easy integration i found the software really easy to use and their custom affiliate dashboard looked great too. As i built out my dashboard with banners and emails we encountered a few bugs but these guys were right onto it and provided a 5 star customer service for me (and was on the other side of the world from them, so they had to do out of hours calls and skype). “When i started digging in to the software even more i found a whole other area where it tracked leads and customers, where they were referring from and it now highlights areas on the web where my business is being talked about and i am able to participate or flag for later marketing opportunities. “The payment system is super easy to use too.my referral partners are stoked. Can’t recommend it enough.”

“If your using some other Affiliate Software your just wasting your time, trust me I know. LeadDyno is intuitive, innovative, constantly being updated, ascetically pleasing, easy to integrate while exceptionally motivating to affiliates since they can track their individual progress across all major social networks in real time! “Other software are cumbersome and discouraging and this includes the big names. Most of these software’s function like your Amway and have the dough to through on programmers who need to write special scripts to create common sense functionality that the software should be doing out of the box anyway.”
James Bomar, CEO, Realm Dynamics
“After trying several affiliate softwares, I decided to give LeadDyno a try. It was exactly what I needed. It is extremely easy to setup, not only for you, but also for your affiliates. I highly recommend LeadDyno!”
